Advent Word/Day Two
“Whenever two or three are gathered in my name, there I am with them” is an oft quoted passage of the Bible. This season is all about “together-ness” and gathering with family and friends. Sadly, as time goes on, we inevitably lose some of those we love, and the tone and tenor of those gatherings change. But even after such loss, we can still enjoy the time together with those we hold dear – and even appreciate it a little bit more.
In these days of Advent, take time to remember those who cannot be together with friends and family for whatever reason.
