Month of Gratitude

When we decorate for Christmas, it isn’t a carol playing, hot cocoa drinking Hallmark movie of a time. It’s a mess – usually for several days as we wade through boxes and boxes of decorations and figure out what goes where. Combined with the facts that I am trying to cook and freeze sides for Thanksgiving, and have a bit of a cold, I am very thankful that it is a weekend without plans that I can stay at home and work in my nest – however messy it may be.
