Month of Gratitude

I am not exactly a “country” person. Although I have lived in relatively rural areas most of my life, I have no desire to be outdoorsy or to garden (I kill my porch plants on the regular!) or do many things of a country nature. But the older I get the more I appreciate living where we do, which even though it is in a subdivision is still in the country. Even though it makes for a commute to and from work (especially for Trever), knowing that I can step outside and have the sights and sounds of nature makes it worthwhile.
